A Parcel With Its Own Paperwork

A delivery is a document, not a status. It carries who it is going to, what went, which courier took it, what that cost and the number the customer can chase it with.

How it works

What a delivery carries

  • Channel, charge and consignment ID

The delivery holds which courier took it, what the delivery and channel charges were, and the tracking number, so the answer to "where is it" is on the document.

  • A printed challan

A delivery challan prints with the recipient, the items, the related invoices, and received-by and delivered-by signature blocks.

  • Part deliveries stay open

Ordered, delivered, billed and returned are counted per line, so sending nine hundred of twelve hundred leaves three hundred outstanding rather than closing the order.

  • Delivery channels as a list

Couriers and their charges are set up once in settings rather than typed onto every order.

  • The customer told automatically

Notification templates cover order placed, payment received and order shipped, by email and by SMS.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I record a courier tracking number?

Yes. The delivery carries a consignment ID alongside the delivery channel and charge, and it prints on the challan.

What if only part of an order goes out?

Quantities are tracked per line — ordered, delivered, billed and returned — so a partial delivery leaves the rest outstanding and the order open.

Does the customer get told automatically?

There are notification templates for order placed, payment successful and order shipped, on both email and SMS.

Are the courier integrations live?

Pathao, REDX and eCourier each have an integration page. In the account we walked, every delivery was store pickup and the channel fields were unused, so ask to be shown the courier you need working before you buy for it.
