One Catalogue, Not Two That Drift

Keeping a product list in the ERP and another in the shop is how a price ends up wrong in one of them. The item is the item, and the storefront reads it.

How it works

What an item already carries

  • Variants generated, not typed

Attribute sets produce the size and colour combinations with their own SKUs, so a product with thirty variants is one piece of work rather than thirty.

  • Images and both descriptions

Items hold their images and a short and long description, which is what a storefront needs from them.

  • Price lists per customer

A price list can be attached to a customer, so a wholesale buyer and a walk-in are not quoted the same figure from the same catalogue.

  • Published where you choose

Availability in e-commerce and at the till are separate switches on the item.

  • Weight for whoever carries it

An item can be marked deliverable through a channel and carry its weight, which is what the courier side needs.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How are size and colour variants handled?

Through attribute sets. Define the attributes and their values and the combinations are generated with their own SKUs, rather than being entered one at a time.

Can the same product have different prices for different customers?

Yes. Price lists are defined separately and can be attached per customer, and a quotation or order priced off that list uses it.

Does the storefront get the product images?

Items carry their images and short and long descriptions in the item master, which is where a storefront reads them from.

Can I keep something out of the online shop?

Yes. Availability in e-commerce is a switch on the item, independent of whether it sells at the till.
